SUESSEN co-operates with JINGWEI in the field of EliTe®Compact Spinning
JINGWEI, Chinese Leader in Spinning Machinery will be exhibiting their latest model ring spinning machine F1530; one side will be fully equipped with EliTe®CompactSet and EliTwist®. The core technology components are from SUESSEN; Jingwei manufactures the balance parts under license.
The co-operation also comprises the optional applications for EliTe®CompactSet as EliTwist® and EliCoreTwist®.
With this co-operation both companies expect to extend their business and market share in their market; also the companies will work together to deter possible infringements of their intellectual property rights for the benefit of their customers.
Both parts will strive to further enhance the leadership of the EliTe®Compact Spinning Technology in the worldwide textile market.

2. SUESSEN - The widely acknowledged Leader in Compact Ring Spinning and Open-End Rotor Spinning Technology
At SUESSEN, we make considerable investments in continuous Research & Development, combined with applied research that is directly carried out at our customers’ mills. This ensures that we are able to further develop our technical and technological components in both an uncompromising and resolute manner.
In particular, we focus on universal applicability, improved yarn quality, increased service life, reduced maintenance and proven reliability in industrial application.
Our power in developing our products is evidenced by the most recent developments in compact ring spinning, such as EliTwist® and EliCoreTwist® and the state-of-the-art Open-End SpinBoxes for the OEMs RIETER and SAVIO.
2.1 Compact Ring Spinning Technology
The SUESSEN EliTe®Compact Spinning System was first introduced to the market at ITMA '99 in Paris. In a short space of time, it achieved a reputation as being the most versatile compact spinning system. To date, the EliTe®Compact Spinning is running on 1,700,000 ring spindles worldwide which represents almost 50% of the total market of compact ring spindles.
The EliTe®CompactSet is available for short-staple as well as for long-staple spinning. Further examples of our commitment to Technology Leadership are the recent releases of the new products in compact spinning as EliTwist® and EliCoreTwist®.
Approx. 10% of the EliTe®Spindles are already equipped with EliTwist® for production of two-ply yarns directly on the ring spinning machine with compact spinning technology, setting new quality standards in the field of compact spinning.
2.2 Open-End Rotor Spinning Technology
The well-known Open-End SpinBox family SE 7/ 8/ 9/ 10 was designed and manufactured by SUESSEN. Its latest SpinBox types, the SC Compact SpinBox and the SQ Quality SpinBox, have already been used to modernize over 700 Autocoro rotor spinning machines.
The new RIETER R 40 rotor spinning machine is equipped with the SUESSEN SC-R SpinBox. The new SAVIO FlexiRotorS 3000/Duo-Spinner rotor spinning machine is equipped with the SUESSEN SC-S SpinBox.
SUESSEN designs and manufactures the original Premium Parts Spinning Components and Spare Parts for all of the above-listed SpinBoxes.
3. The SUESSEN Product Range
3.1 SUESSEN EliTe®CompactSet
The Compact Spinning System for existing ring spinning machines
The Compact Ring Yarn, providing revolutionary improvements in all yarn parameters, has already established new ring yarn quality standards. Furthermore, it has proven its important cost effective advantages in the ring spinning process and in downstream processes. The result of this product is an unparalleled improvement in the quality of the textile end product.
The SUESSEN EliTe®Compact Spinning System is available as modernization packages, called
EliTe®CompactSet-S for existing ring spinning frames in short-staple spinning and
EliTe®CompactSet-L for existing ring spinning frames in long-staple spinning.
The EliTe®CompactSet is available for many models manufactured by RIETER, Lakshmi, Shanghai, Jingwei, Zinser, Toyota, SUESSEN, Cognetex and other manufacturers.

3.2 SUESSEN HP Drafting Systems
The Modernization System for ring spinning and roving frames
The HP ComponentSet comprises Top Weighting Arms HP-GX and HP-A, roller stands, HP Bottom Rollers with bearings, HP-R Top Rollers with cots, bottom apron guide bars, HP-C Stability Cradles with cradle spacers and aprons etc. These modernization components are available for any brand or type of ring spinning frame as well as roving frame. Customers buying new ring spinning machines / roving frames may specify these components directly with the machine maker.
The HP Spinning Components and Parts are also available separately.
SUESSEN’s HP-A 310/320 Top Weighting Arm for short-staple spinning has enjoyed a great success. The improvement in yarn quality over competitive designs has been the decisive success factor in the eyes of our customers. The new and refined HP-GX 3010 Top Weighting Arm will continue the success story.
Likewise, SUESSEN’s HP-A 410 Top Weighting Arm for roving frames has also been hugely successful. Again, the enhanced quality this provides has been the decisive factor for our customers.
Also available is SUESSEN’s HP-A 510 Top Weighting Arm for long-staple (worsted) spinning.

With over 700 completely modernized Autocoro rotor spinning machines, SUESSEN is the leading supplier of modernization equipment for Open-End rotor spinning machines. The SC 2 / SQ 2 SpinBoxes have been specifically designed for spinning synthetic fibres.
- Yarn quality is considerably improved
- An average production increase of about 25% (in some cases even 40%) and a dramatic reduction of the ends-down rate is feasible
- Rotor speeds up to (and at times exceeds) 135,000 rpm, and delivery speeds of up to 220 m/min are often achievable

3.4 Testing Equipment QuickSpin System QSS
QuickSpin System QSS is the approved testing equipment for clearly evaluating raw material quality.
The system delivers data regarding cleanability, opening behaviour, cohesion and stickiness of the fibre material. It further supplies information on tendencies and influences resulting from different raw materials. It provides accurate forecasts of yarn properties and the processability and enables cost-effective compositions of various fibre materials.
For marketing, we have collaboration with SDL Atlas, the renowned name for testing equipments.
