Review Exhibition on the 30-Year Reform and Opening-Up of China Will be Held

In order to fully exhibit the great journey of the 30-year Reform and Opening-Up of China, with the authorization of the State Council, the “Review Exhibition on the 30-Year Reform and Opening-Up of China” will be held in the Exhibition Hall of the China World Trade Center from December 18 to December 30,. The Review Exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the International Communication Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Party Literature Research Center of the CPC Central Committee and the Xinhua News Agency, and is jointly coordinated by other 30 departments of the State Council including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, the Ministry of Finance, and so on. The China World Trade Center, the China Foreign Trade Center and the National Museum of China will hold the Exhibition.
The exhibition includes five parts: the Course of Reform and Opening-Up, the Opening-Up of Realms, the Opening-Up of Industries, the Opening-Up of Local Places and the Win-Win Strategy of Opening-Up. The developments and changes in these fields will be fully exhibited.
Part One: the Course of Reform and Opening-Up, Great and Splendid. It will reflect the 30-year vigorous development history of the Reform and Opening-Up of China. It is divided into three units: the creation of the great undertaking of the Reform and Opening-Up; the establishment of the all-round, multi-layer and wide-ranging structure of the Reform and Opening-Up; the improvement of the Sino-foreign interactive, double-win, safe, high-efficiency and open economic system. In this part, the splendid accomplishments of the 30-year Reform and Opening-Up of China will also be reflected with data and pictures.
Part Two: the Opening-Up of Realms, Great Leap. This part will review the course and accomplishments of such areas of China as the foreign trade, utilization of foreign capital, international economic cooperation and investing in other countries, and reflect the important functions of the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao regions, the construction of the free-trade area, the entry into the WTO, the foreign-related law construction and so on, in the Reform and Opening-Up.
Part Three: the Opening-Up of Industries, innovation was impelled. It will reflect the courses and accomplishments of the international economic and technological communications and cooperation carried on in every industry of China.
Part Four: the Opening-Up of Local Places, developments were promoted. This part will reflect the Reform and Opening-Up courses and the delightful accomplishments of 37 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions, as well as the cities specifically designated in the state plan and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Crops.
Part Five: Opening to the World, Win-Win Result. This part will fully reflect the developments of the economic and trade relationships between China and Asia, China and Africa, China and Europe, China and America, China and Oceania, China and the International Organizations, China and the 173 countries that have establish diplomatic relation with China, and this part is a focused exhibition about the Win-Win Strategy of China.
The contents of this exhibition will span the 30 years, and they include 2,000 pictures and diagram and 1,300 cultural relics, objects and documents. The 8 large-scale models which cover an area of 500 square meters in total will be exhibited too. The big event record of local opening-up and the big event record of bilateral economic and trade cooperation have been compiled for the Review Exhibition, and the visitors can search for them through the 200 terminal computers in the site of the Review Exhibition.
Review Exhibition on the 30-Year Reform and Opening-Up of China will be open to public for free from December 19 to December 30. People can get free ticket and visit the exhibition after with his/her valid certificate. The visitor group can book the collective tickets by dialing the ticket-booking hotline.
