The Arrangement for Receiving the Guests to Attend CITIF
China (Ningxia) International Trade and Investment Fair, organized by The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and The People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region(named in short as CITIF hereinafter),will be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia from Aug.18 to 23, 2009.
CITIF is a grand international event, a integrative one at Chinese national level, which mixes Halal food, Muslem commodities, fine cashmere and wool products, modern light industrial and electronic products, machinery equipments, special farm show and sale as well as negotiation on investment and trade. During the fair, such activities will be held as China (Ningxia) International Halal Food & Muslem Commodities Exhibition, The 2nd China (Ningxia) Hui (Chinese Muslem) Merchants Convention, The 5th China (Ningxia) Fair & Exhibition of Local Agricultural Products of the Western China, The International Fair of Premier Cashmere (Wool) Products and Light Industry and Electronic Products, Exhibition of Tourism, Exhibition of Agricultural Products with Distinctive Features and The Exhibition of Large Machinery and Equipments. In addition, other international events will be held, such as The Symposium on Economic Cooperation between Ningxia and Arabic Countries, China International Forum & Exhibition of Coarse Cereals and Beans Industry 2009, The Summit of International Cooperation in Halal Industry, and Ningxia-France Cooperation and Development Forum on Wine Industry.
The organizing committee of CITIF stresses its invitation on the Muslem countries from Middle East, Southeastern Asia, Middle Asia, North Africa, but it is also welcomed to invite the guests from Japan, South Korea, Europe, North and South Americas as well as Oceania. The related arrangement and entertainment will be offered for them.
I. The range of our invitation
Commercial departments, chambers of commerce, councils of commerce, all kinds of enterprises and economic organizations at your staying country, trade and business offices at china, multinational company offices at China.
II. The arrangement for receiving guests
1) During the Fair, all the meals, traffic, observation and travel in Ningxia, arranged by the Fair, will uniformly be free charged.
2) The following guests will enjoy free accommodation at hotels, who are:
A. Presidents or chairmen of chambers or councils of commerce from foreign countries;
B. All the diplomatic officials from the embassies or consulates at China;
C. Foreign local government officials and reporters or newsmen from foreign medias;
D. The guests (specialists, salesmen and agents) to attend the International Symposium on China Coarse Cereals and Beans;
E. The guests to attend Symposium on Economy and Trade Cooperation between Ningxia and Arabic Countries;
F. The guests to attend The Summit of International Cooperation in Halal Industry;
G. The guests to attend Ningxia-France Cooperation and Development Forum on Wine Industry;
H. The oversea guests to attend The 2nd Hui (Chinese Muslem) Merchants Convention will be free with meals and accommodation in Wuzhong City;
I. All the exhibitors overseas and other businessmen must bear accommodation on themselves;
J. Excluding ambassadors, all participants and exhibitors for the Fair must pay airplane-tickets themselves;

On the occasion of China (Ningxia ) International Trade and Investment Fair (CITIF), we sincerely request your participation.
The Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China， China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NXHAR) will jointly organize China (Ningxia) International Trade and Investment Fair (referred to as CITIF hereinafter), and the Fair will be unveiled on Aug. 18, 2009 at Yinchuan International Conference and Exhibition Center and last until Aug. 23, 2009. As a large national-grade Fair of China, the CITIF covers full range of subjects and bears international significance. On the occasion of the Fair, the cooperation and exchanges among those businessmen both from home and abroad will be carried out in broad fields, in terms of halal food, Muslim commodities, premier cashmere (wool) products, modern light industry and electronic products, machinery and equipments and agricultural products with distinctive local characteristics.
The CITIF orients its theme on Opening-up, Friendship, Cooperation and Success. Based on the prominent advantages as the born close ties with the Muslims around the world, plenty of agricultural products with distinctive local characteristics and rich natural resources, Ningxia is expected to be developed into as much a halal food producer of China as a collection and distribution center of halal food in the world. Then, Ningxia will be renowned as the platform of China to seek for economic exchanges, project contracting, labor service cooperation with the Muslim countries around the globe. During the Fair, several large events will be put on the stage, which are China (Ningxia) International Halal Food & Muslim Commodities Fair, the 2nd China (Ningxia) Hui (Chinese Muslim) Merchants Convention, the 5th China (Ningxia) Fair & Exhibition of Local Agricultural Products of the Western China, the International Fair of Premier Cashmere (Wool) Products and Light Industry and Electronic Products, Exhibition of Tourism, Exhibition of Agricultural Products with Distinctive Features, and the Exhibition of Large Machinery and Equipments. In addition, lots of domestic or foreign investors, buyers, contractors, producers and well-known enterprises will attend the Fair, and many Chinese and foreign media will cover the entire Fair from all angles.
Around the world resides in around 1.3 billion Muslim, or nearly 1/4 of the global population and the annual trade volume of Halal food has exceeded USD 150 billion, for which the development of halal industry will have a bright and promising prospect. As the only Hui (Chinese Muslim) Autonomous Region, Ningxia has witnessed its industries of halal food and Muslim commodities well developed. By now, there have been full range of halal foods produced in Ningxia with high quality, and the production has also been further expanded towards a standard one. Furthermore, Ningxia has reached agreements on mutual acknowledgement of halal products with those halal certification agencies of foreign countries as Malaysia and Thailand, and Ningxia has founded its International Certification Center of Halal Food, which will facilitate the access of China-made halal food to the international market and create huge potentials in this way.
Ningxia is such a place rich both in scenic beauty and legendary stories. The time-honored civilization originating from the Yellow River, mysterious culture of the Xixia Kingdom in history, strong custom as a Hui (Chinese Muslim) place and the grand scenery of desert have not only defined the brilliant culture which could be traced back to thousands years ago, but also shown its uniqueness as a natural and beautiful place.
