Source from the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) on February 22 is that director and secretary of the Party Committee of SASAC stated while chairing the collective study of the SASAC Party Commission central group on February 21 that we shall strengthen the awareness of the importance and urgency of speeding up the transformation of economic growth mode to guide central enterprises to make main business strong.
“Central enterprises shall give priority to growing strong while expanding their business.” Li said. The important point in which whether central enterprises are possessed of vigor, controlling force and influence and whether they can really exert a leading role in the national economy lies in whether the main business of central enterprises can grow strong. If speeding up the transformation of economic growth mode and realizing scientific development, central enterprises shall throw light on main business and develop it.
Li said we shall seek truth from facts and grasp roles. “facts” refers to the situation of the world, country and enterprise, so we shall conduct a clear investigation of the present situation of central enterprises and do clear research into the advantages and disadvantages of central enterprises, grasp the roles of the enterprise growth based on the good knowledge of “facts” by discarding the dross and selecting the essential and eliminating the false and retaining the true, carefully conduct activities in line with the economic laws and do well the structural adjustment of the deployment of central enterprises to boost central enterprises to speed up the transformation of economic growth mode.
