Promoting Textile Enterprise to Take Charge of Society Responsibility

With the global source collocation and global flow of capital brought by globalization, international society form the common sense and appeal enterprise to take charge of society responsibility. On June.11, in 3rd Dialog of Sino-EU Industry Policy held in Beijing, National Development & Reform Committee and EU enterprises, industry headquarter deeply probe into the topic- textile enterprise further to take charge of society responsibility. Both sides consider that the enterprise’s society responsibility should be charged by manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers commonly. They also show that both sides should enhance the communication and cooperation in textile enterprise’s society responsibility standard and promote enterprises to take charge of society responsibility. The circs about building and promotion of society responsibility management system is as follows:
Since 2004, China Textile Industry Association have set the decision to promote textile enterprise to take charge of society responsibility and take a series of important measures:
1. Constitute and issue China textile enterprise society responsibility management system CSC9000T
In May of 2005, China Textile Industry Association promotes China Textile Enterprise Society Responsibility Management System (CSC9000T). CSC9000T is the embodiment of mixing of China law, China situation, international tradition and other management system and society responsibility management system fit for China enterprise. As first Society Responsibility Management system with China character, CSC9000T have its own bright characters.
The core of CSC9000T is building society responsibility management system with concept"people foremost", that is paying attention to employee ,guarantee employee’s legal benefit, inspire employee’s go-aneurism and change job to be the embody of worthiness of living and life. Through restricting enterprise’s activity, build labor union, perfecting employ’s labor contract, keeping harmonious relationship between labor and capital, improving work efficiency and inspiring innovation spirit, CSC9000T bring great profit to enterprise.
2. Establish special CSC9000T promotion institution and promote to implement CSC9000T actively.
To implement CSC9000T and promote textile enterprise’s society responsibility construction, China Textile Industry Association set up Promotion Committee for textile enterprise’s society responsibility construction and routine institution-Society Responsibility Construction Promotion Office.
3. Build official website to promotion committee and set up communication platform for society responsibility.
In October, 2005, www.csc9000.org.cn is built formally. Until now, this website has become the important ache and platform for communication and cooperation of members in promotion committee.
4. Finish and issue Direction document for implementing CSC9000T
5. Make experiments of CSC9000T and extend spot to further the promotion of CSC9000T
The followed key work:
1. Decide training content according to initial appraise and conduct systemic training of enterprise, help enterprise to build society responsibility management system according to requirement of CSC9000T
2. 2. Promote and implement CSC9000T with relevant international organization and constitution and upgrade textile industry’s image as well as build good environment.
3. 3. On the end of 2006, open "textile supply chain Society Responsibility Management Conference" and communicate updated dynamic and success experience for society responsibility, especially the advanced experience for experimental unit enterprise and industry group.
4. 4. Cooperate with university and conduct research of associate topic, build continual development strategy for society responsibility.
