China Textile & Apparel Trade Fair( Germany) , which is sponsored by China National Textile and Apparel Council ( CNTAC), organized by the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for Promotion of International Trade ( CCPIT TEX), China National Garment Association and Karlsruher Messe – und Kongress GmbH will be held in the beginning of Novmember, 2006 in Karlruher, Germany. It is reported that this show is the first trade fair sponsored independently by China National Textile and Apparel Council ( CNTAC) in order to promote European market in textile and apparel business. The show will cover all textile and apparel products made in China, such as textiles, apparels, fabrics, home-textile, and accessories and there is going to have more rich business events simultaneously.
It is well known that China Textile & Apparel Trade Show (New York) has been long for 6 years since 2000 successfully. And the first China Textile & Apparel Trade Show (Germany) will be paid attention to by the textile sector at hone and abroad. And it is reported that many excellent companies in China will attend it as exhibitors and more international buyers will visit the show.
The European Union continued to be China’s Largent trade partner in 2005. The official statistics showed that Europe Union has been playing an important role in the global textile and apparel trade as the first international market in textile and apparel. EU is the second import market in textile and apparel in the world whose annual textile import takes up 31 per cent of the global textile import The total sale value of textile and apparel in EU reaches EUR 190 billion every year, in which 45 per cent for apparel in EUR 85.5 billion and Exported to EU 25 countries for textile and apparel from China in 2005 stood at EUR 21.4 billion including EUR 4.4 billion, taking up 25 per cent of its total import (total EUR 20 billion) and EUR 17 billion taking up about 33 per cent of its total import ( total EUR 5.1 billion).
It is sure that China Textile & Apparel Trade Fair( Germany) will offer more business opportunities for the manufactures and buyers in EU textile and apparel industry.
China Textile & Apparel TradeFair (Germany) will be held in Karlsruher, a beautiful city in Germany. Karlsruhe, once the capital of Baden, lies in the south west of Germany, on the northern flank of Baden-Württemberg. The first China Textile & Apparel Trade Fair ( Germany) will see at he Karlsruhe convention centre, Messe Karlsruhe with indoor 22,000 square-meters, and10,000 square-meter outdoor space where there were 53 fairs or shows and 450 thousand visitors attended in 2005.
